DGC COLLABORATIVE PROJECT

In DTLA’s chic Barker Block district, DGC gutted a two-story loft to create a modern industrial 3-bed, 2-bath second home. The 3,000-square foot space features exposed spiral ducting and conduit, concrete and brick walls in the rough, as well as polished concrete floors to complete the aesthetic. Reclaimed lumber is used in custom closets and cabinetry throughout and a new kitchen boasts a custom island in mild and stainless steel.  The living space includes multiple seating areas for downtown entertaining and integrated lighting, sound, internet, electronic shades and entertainment systems are featured on both levels. Whimsical custom lighting fixtures with multipoint and track systems are used to dramatic effect in all rooms.  DGC worked with the project’s interior designer Deborah Goldstein of Deborah Goldstein Design, Inc.
